Stanley Fatmax Tools Review

The Stanley Fatmax measuring tape is one of the best selling tapes on the market and certainly offers a lot of quality for the price tag. For one - you feel as though you've got something solid in your hand and you know you're not gonna get into a fight when it's on half to full extension. The recoil action is awesome - fluid, rapid and none of the usual complaints you get with cheaper models.

The bit most of us use the most -the first 6ft stretch, is reinforced with a Blade-Armor overcoat that aides both function and strength. It's a 16" tape, smaller and more compact that the illustration makes it look, does what you need it to do without complaint and worthy of being classed as industrial standard - because that's exactly what it is. Super example of a Stanley hand tool - and on offer at an excellent discount price.

The Fubar Stanly Fatmax tool is totally awesome. Like - how did you manage without it awesome. It's more than just a pry bar - you kinda feel as though you can demolish a small building using the Fubar, safety gear and brute force. Beyond its ability to lift, pry and split, it can bend and be used to apply force by way of a well place strike.

Whatever you need to smash, break, bend, wrench, demolish and just plain old destroy - the Fubar will take it out. It almost feels like fun and maybe it's a guy thing but - destroying stuff just feels so satisfying. The bar is a one piece - forged steel, tempered, it weighs about 4lb, the grip down the centre does its job and it feels balanced and happy to go to work. Like I said - totally awesome. And for the price? Buy two. Give your mate one.

This is the best Stanley Fatmax tool box and it sure rocks when it comes to transporting your most used hand tools from place t place. It's one of those tool bags that have a space for everything - and yet you can sill find a little niche somewhere to slot a nail set or a level right at the last minute.

It's big, it's tough, it's weatherproof for the main, waterproof through the base. It's double stitched, rivets where you need them, a handle that's not to bad to hold onto when the bag's fully loaded. It's got bells and whistles a-plenty - internally there's pockets, space for a power tool or two, pouches, mini-holsters - it's got the lot. Absolutely as good as it gets, top of the range quality, good enough to replace the average tool box - and ducks in at under 30 bucks - bargain!

Five star rated, quality manufacture - a superb hand saw that's one of the best Stanley Fatmax tools in its class and an all-round useful piece of kit. It's a 15" blade, sharp as it gets, cuts true, no warping bending, scraping. Cut through some fencing timber (2 x 4) without any strain on my part and gave a good clean edge.

Half the problem with most hand saws is the technique - not the tool.  Learning to let the saw do the work makes task's a lot easier from the get go. The teeth are induction hardened, the back can be used to mitre/ measure angels, it's balanced, comfortable in the hand and powers through a variety of woods. At under 15 dollars, what are you waiting for? You're not going to get much more bang for your buck than you get with this one - unless you go ahead and buy the Fubar right along with it.

This is the best Stanley Fatmax hammer. Using the renowned anti-vibe technology makes a note worthy difference to how you feel after pounding a few nail heads in and among the working day. The handle and overall design is ergonomic and focused on providing a grip that works with you - rather than against. You'll find you can lay a fair amount of floorboards or raise some fencing without messing up your elbow and shoulder joints.

It's heavy enough to do some of the tougher stuff but not so heavy you need to rest up and find something else to do. It's good to have around if you do a lot of demo and breaking tasks and it's pretty good around general carpentry. Great quality, comfortable grip - works well with other tasks such as lifting and prying - well worth the price tag.
