Star Wars Garb for Movie Night, Comicon, and More

When one goes to a Star Wars movie, it has traditionally been appropriate to wear a costume of a favorite character. But those days are gone, they went in response to modern society and the problems it has brought. And, it is to the movie goer’s benefit to not wear a costume that requires a helmet. A helmet confines one’s field of vision too much to be a good idea for movie watching.

So, what is the alternative? Well, Star Wars shirts are allowed, and you should have no problem showing your favorite character, whether it is an older character or one from the newest Star Wars movie. In fact, it is possible to have a shirt reflect a scene, or a group of characters in a cluster. There is no need to choose only one character, and you might even choose an object like the Millennium Falcon as what your shirt displays. Shirts are actually more versatile than costumes in that they can be worn many places. And, shirts can be more comfortable than costumes. So get prepared for the next movie release and order your favorite Star Wars shirt.

Shirts Are Versatile

Entire costumes may grab attention, but shirts are so much more comfortable. Star Wars shirts are great for attending Comicon. I have attended one and it is a fun experience, but you should look like you fit in. At Comicon it is quite acceptable to express a liking for a science fiction concept such as Star Wars. Yes, the name indicates its origins, a place for comic book enthusiasts to gather, make purchases of difficult to find items, and mingle with others who share the interest. But, because so many comic book super heroes have been featured in movies, science fiction has taken a significant presence in Comicon, and now extends past super heroes. Because this is a multiple day event I suggest having several different Star Wars shirts.

I suggest that you choose the largest Comicon convention that is held annually in San Diego, but if you cannot schedule it there is a lengthy list of smaller Comicon conventions at this link.

Halloween

Halloween also offers an opportunity to wear a Star Wars shirt. If you feel uncomfortable wearing a costume while walking with your children, a Star Wars shirt is a good alternative. Since Halloween can be cool consider the long sleeve or even the hoodie version.
