Above Ground Automatic Swimming Pool Cleaners

A couple years ago we decided that we wanted a Pool Boy to clean and Vacuum our Pool. It is just one of those jobs that we hate to do every summer and neither myself or my Husband jump to getting it done. I am also very sure we are not alone out there either or you would not be reading this.

So we thought about it and decided it was time for a Pool Boy. Ok I must admit as good as it sounds to say you have a Pool Boy, most of us cannot afford to really have one of those, but that is what we are calling out new Automatic Pool Vacuum - It sounds so much better to refer to it as our Pool Boy - lol.

This is something new we purchased for our 24' Round Above Ground Pool after being tired of spending our days vacuuming the pool and fighting with the long hose all the time.Ok and fighting with my Husband over which one of us was going to go out and do it.

Well we are very happy with our Pool Buy, I mean Automatic Swimming Pool Cleaner that I thought I would share my review and save you from the hassle of vacuuming your pool this summer.

Meet Dave our Pool Boy

After some research and reading reviews online we decided to hire Dave - Diver Dave to be exact. He got great reviews for cleaning pools, he was pretty inexpensive to hire and seemed he would be easy going. So we hired him for the Summer.

I am a Pool Cleaner designed to clean the bottom of all sizes and shapes of above-ground and on-ground pools - AUTOMATICALLY! I am Cute and I operate off the pools existing filtration system and I use my company Hayward's exclusive AquaPilot steering program so I will not miss a spot. I am Quiet, Effective and Look Good, I am reasonably priced for hire by pool owners like you so you will never be bugged by manual pool cleaning again. Note: I am NOT for dished or deep end pools. I also bring along 32 ft. of hose, skimmer cone & video for you to watch. I also give you a 1 Yr. Warranty - so if I do not do the job or I become ill you can let me go or have me fixed.

How could we pass up a resume like that? But the BIG question is did he do what he said he could?

YES YES YES and he has worked for us 2 seasons going on his 3rd this year (2012). All we do is hook him up to the filter, toss him into the pool and he goes on his own all around the pool while we sit back with a big glass of Iced Cold Lemonade on the patio.

We usually give him some time to do his work - he maybe puts in 2+ hours when he works for us depending on how dirty the pool is. So he usually works in the early morning or late evening when the kids are not in the pool. There have been times where we have made him pull an all niter and he did not even complain.
