This is the best selling Actron scanner - and it's multi-lingual. Useful supposing your native language isn't English as it also reads out in Spanish. It's internet compatible, allowing the user to keep the unit updated and on top of fresh data.

The unit itself is sturdy, easy to hold onto whilst working and the read-out screen is clear enough. You get an OBD II cable for the diagnostics and a USB cable for the internet connection. Beyond that you can perform print-outs (when connected to a PC), it delivers data with rapid speed and allows you to make the right choice in a hot second. Well designed, popular and currently on offer at a great retail price.

The second best selling Actron scanner - this one having a larger read-out screen and tr-lingual. This time around you get English, Spanish and French on board and it delivers data relating to OBD II, ABS and CAN. Not much difference size-wise to the previous model but a few more tricks and toys.

It prioritizes what's diagnosed - a handy feature - and then will deliver make and model specific information relating to the best solution. Connects to the internet for updates/ printing, has battery back-up and a whole host of other useful features. More expensive but - you're getting more bang for your buck.

Third up on the Actron scanner best sellers is the Pocket Scan Plus - more affordable and lacking some of the functions with the previous toe units but you're getting what you pay for. This one's a much smaller model and provides data relating to OBD II and CAN only.

Despite it's size, it will still read and display a variety of info - pending codes, I/M monitors, freeze frame data and more. The screen's quite small but readable and you power it straight of the car battery. Great code reader for home use and hobby mechanics.

Another nicely designed OBD2 code reader from Actron - and even smaller and more compact than the last one. Again - this one's great for home diagnostics and may well save you a good few bucks if you've half an idea about car problems in general.

Like all the other Actron scanners, you can connect to the internet and keep up to date with the latest information and it works with any vehicle make and model manufactured since 1996. This is a useful automotive tool all round because it allows you to speak to a professional with the issue already diagnosed - creating an honest interaction. Plus there's always the chance that it's a simple fix and something you can do yourself. Affordable, will save you money down the line - every car owner should have one.

This Actron scanner only works with trucks and cars manufactured from 1996 to 2003 - so do bear that in mind. If you want a home hand-held check-light code reader that covers a wider base - the previous model is the better buy.

It works using DTC and if your check-light's on in error it switches the warning light off again. Though limited in what it can do, what it does do it does well and for less than 30 bucks it's gonna save you some cash down the line.
