C Bar J Horse Haven Rescue
This is a very good cause. So many dog and cat rescues an not enough for horse and burro I like that they are aware of the animals special needs and are so very caring.

Shirley Muldowney - Race Car Driver

Review: Home: A Time Traveller's Tales from Britain's Prehistory

Hansel and Gretel: Hard Facts Behind the Fairy Tale

Great Pug Neckties for Men
Wow, I can hardly imagine how this looked - a pug with his own body-guard ... They are definitely very cute and although I usually don't wear a tie, I wouldn't mind getting one as a present:)

Hansel and Gretel: Hard Facts Behind the Fairy Tale
You are right, frankbeswick, birds are guiding spirits in this (and many other) tales. But considering addition of religious elements (including first mentioning of God in second edition) by brothers Grimm, we can safely presume in this case a ...

As Winter Comes
I delayed work on the bed with the ants' nest, but there was no need. A quick inspection showed that it is now uninhabited and in the rainy weather the tunnels have collapsed. The ants die off in winter, leaving only eggs for next year, so they ...
