I visited the WW1 military hospital at Dunham Massey. It was very interesting. Could i ask why Paul calls Dunham Massey " Stamford Hall " ? Is this its real name or merely because it was the home of the Stamfords and a local acknowledgement?

Dorothy Booth of Dunham Massey married Robert Tatton of Wythenshawe Hall back in the 1540's I think. They were all interlinked but my ancestors weren't as highly born as yours.
