I didn't realize that gender reveal parties were a recent trend. How very interesting! And yes, great points about sex and gender. I also find that having an ultrasound on the spot is probably not the best idea.

How to Grind Whole Coffee Beans in your Blender
I didn't realize you could grind coffee beans in a blender. Like candy, I have and use a spice grinder. Good point about flavoring coffee yourself, although how do you do pumpkin spice (which is one of the flavorings you mention)?

Tame Your Video Collection
This is a great idea, especially if you travel and can't carry DVDs with you. Does the quality stay the same though. I believe DVDs have a HD resolution. How many DVDs at HD resolution can you get on a 1TB hard drive?

Music Book Review: Venetian Curiosities by Donna Leon, Baroque Era Title #2 With Vivaldi Concerti CD
Just as you find Donna Leon's books interesting, I find that your articles, too, are very inspiring. I didn't know Vivaldi's funeral took place in the Stephansdom! By the way, I'm surprised how many famous St. Stephen's churches are in Europe.
