I so enjoy it when I use my fountain pen, Claudia, and really need to do so more often. Probably more importantly, I need to use hand writing more frequently. Computer use seems to have replaced writing by hand. Oh, do have fun removing the ...

How do the British Make Tea? Absolutely Not Like You Think We Do
Had it for years, it was from Betterware back in the day. It's a mug version of the traditional pint glass tankard with dimples and handle. Good luck finding one these days - I've just hunted on Google for you and not turned up anything.

Mark Twain Crescent Halloween Fountain Pens for Masterpiece Ghost Writing
I love fountain pens, Coletta. In my younger years my handwriting was much prettier than it is now and a fountain pen just makes the writing so much prettier. And it's a 'feel good' writing experience when using a special pen.

Czech Republic Comfort Food: Creamed Brussels Sprouts
Another sprout lover checking in. When I was young I used to eat Brussels sprouts raw from my parent's garden. They were always better after being hit with a light frost in autumn.

What to Do When Alone at Christmas
I like all of these ideas for spending the holidays alone... but not alone. The idea of attending a Retreat House, where I could join in the festivities, or sit in my room, sounds perfect. I'm at the age where I like the idea of having ...
