Fair point that an obscure actor could make a better Louis, but I still think that Brad Pitt did it well. Remember that in 1994, Brad Pitt was fairly unknown.

I've since watched 'Queen of the Damned' and Stuart Townsend's Lestat knocks Tom Cruise's for six. I'm more inclined to agree with you now, than I was when I wrote this a couple of hours ago.
