Hi Kajohu,
Thanks so much for your feedback. This is my very first Wizz ( is that what they're called?).

So happy that you have found ways that work for you whenever this nasty thing called depression tries to take over. All that you mention are great ways to combat depression.

Also glad that you do not tackle it using drugs as I feel they tend to give you so many other things to deal with, as in negative side effects.

I look forward to reading your work as well and getting to know you.

Thanks again,
Athena

Hi, I'm Jamie, the Director of Outreach for Scripted.com - We offer a market place for businesses to hire freelance writers and bloggers. Just saw your article and your mention of writeraccess in your blog. We just recently launched and have a similar offering - would appreciate your thoughts!

This is a very thoughtful and comprehensive overview on depression. I occasionally have mild bouts of depression (luckily not major!), and what helps me most is yoga and getting outside for brisk walks. Also during the winter, I sit next to my NatureBright SunTouch lamp (I see you have it listed above!). Also being with other people keeps me from spiraling inward to dwell on depressive thoughts.

I whole-heartedly, unequivocally agree. :D

@Sam, I can see you! You can't hide from me! Isn't that what I am producing - fodder for the masses, with a little humor, lot's of info, and a smattering of ice cream sauce on top! If this was good stuff, I'd be published. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the hint of sarcasm - like mint choc chip, just a hint.

So, in short Humagaia, the way forward is to create 'quality dross'? Runs and hides ;-)

G_S don't like the idea of them stumbling, I might get sued. I'll just carry on the way I am. If they don't like what they see they have the chance to click an ad, so I get paid instead!
Creating this 'quality' thing is not all it is cracked up to be. If we got paid for quality we would be rich. Unfortunately it is not quality that gets the clicks, it is the dross that drives people to click the ads. The dross produced by those that want to play the system and do as little as possible.
Again, I'll just keep on doing what I am doing and hope that the likes of Google eventually can make the distinction between quality and dross. I live in hope, rather than expectation.
Thanks though for boosting my ego with your comment.

You are welcome, Guarded_Secrets!

That is something that should be posted in all schools.

Great ideas - it is always difficult for couples to figure out what to give their bridal party to say thanks.

I've tried it before and white liner really does make your eyes pop. My problem is that with my contact lenses, I can't wear it too often. Great topic.

Hey, that's a cool look. I think I'll try it. I wonder what my kids will think.

Those are cute. Maybe I'll have to get my grandkids one.

I don't know what I would do if I still had a child in high school. Ever since Columbine, kids think this is a cool way to solve problems. They don't stop to think of the consequences. According to Dr. Phil, the frontal cortex of the brain isn't fully developed until we're 25 years old, and that's the part of the brain that understands cause and effect.

I was going to say I'm too dark for white eyeliner, but Tyra looks good in it. Maybe I'll have to give it a try.
