I'm a portable writer and a portable teacher... well, more or less. I often travel by bus with teaching materials and a netbook, but lke the rhododendron in the picture, I put down roots. A blooming rhododendron met me at the airport when I moved to Seattle. The one in the picture I met later. I write about what I know. I put up teaching projects and craft projects. You'll see my tiny apartment and my vegetarian cooking. I like to work in multimedia; I record audio and analyze a bit of poetry.
