Baby Boomers, in case you don't know are people who were born in the 1940's up until about 1964. This is the generation that has transformed society. Remember the 60's? Well, you know what they say about that, but looking back, free love, rock and roll and all that sure did change what society was then, didn't it?
This book, Baby Boomer Health is almost like a blueprint for our bodies. A way to re-visit ourselves and renew our bodies. I found this book full of medical info and practical health advice that I already knew a bit about but gives so much more. It even gives us some spiritual advice and shows us how to age with grace.
You don't even have to be a baby boomer to read this, because it's relavent to every age. Most of us will someday be over 50, so people of all ages may find it can be useful to them.

I answered your reply on another computer Wendell and my face didn't show up, but that comment above yours is me :)
Wendell,
Excellent thoughts on the aging process. I hit 50 and tried to fight it, even to the extent of throwing away the AARP offers in the mail. Now I am an official AARP member and the benefits do save a few dollars here and there!
That's great that your parent's lived to 89, let alone an uncle at 95. Your familyl obviously has some good genes, which I think are a big plus! I work in a nursing home and we have a fellow here who is almosot 105 and still going strong!
Some good thoughts, Terri and some things to think about.
As one at the leading edge of the Baby Boomers, I have to ask "why are we afraid of aging?" Both my mother and father lived to 89 with no special diets. I have an uncle that is still living at the age of 95.
Currently I am in fairly good health but I know others who are not so fortunate and they can only dream of what they once had.
Rather on concentrating on trying to "fake" the aging process, I think we need to embrace it (we can't stop it) and learn to get the most out of it.
