In fact, if anything a hand-written letter or postcard has become a thing to bring even more delight and pleasure. E-mailing is handy, but soulless! There is nothing more comforting than the sound of the letter box rattling and there, amongst the bills and bank statements is a hand-written postcard.
These boxes of postcards make wonderful presents, especially if you provide a book of first class stamps to go with them!
The thrill of receiving a hand-written message will never die out - especially if it is written on a really amazing postcard!

It's true - we are all so busy! I send postcards quite a lot to my friends - it's a way of keeping in touch. Thanks for your comment ologsinquito.
This is a fantastic idea for a gift. You can still drop a short note without making a huge time investment. Everybody is so busy nowadays.
Yes - that's a lovely thing to do Mira. I hope postcards never die out - they are so personal.
I love these postcards. I keep this tradition myself. Whenever I visit a museum I buy a number of art postcards to send to friends :)
I absolutely agree with you. People value hand-written letters and cards these days. I still have all the old postcards people have sent me over the years. :)
I used to collect postcards when I was a kid and they were great and fun educational tool which had totally different dimension than web browsers. I still don't send text messages instead of classic cards and in my opinion hand written text is coming back, this time as sign of respect to the receiver because it shows you care and you took some personal time to choose, make, write a card with hopefully personal message.
