Best Free iPhone Apps 2012
by Scaevola
When you are looking for the best free iPhone apps of 2012, these are put in a nice little list over here!
When it comes to apps, we all love lists and we probably also all love free. So why not come up with the best free iPhone apps 2012? Let's dive in and see what we can come up with!
Of course, with so many users Facebook deserves a place in this list. But is this as obvious as it seems?
The app has it's bugs. It tends to be very slow when your connection isn't very good and Facebook power users may miss features like games.
On the other hand, the app allows you to comment, like, tag people and browse through your groups. And one of the best features is probably the lack of ads. Right now Facebook says the app is only meant to create a bigger user database, so they are just gathering more and more data. With the increasing amount of mobile traffic it probably won't be very long ad-less!
Dropbox
Managing your files is impossible on your iPhone. At least, that is how it seems. But with Dropbox, a nifty tool which allows you to share and cloud sync files you can actually have files, through the native app, on your iPhone!
This is used by many to be able to read documents on the go (and share them) and to store photos for instance. Because it is pretty easy to get some free extra storage on Dropbox the size of this cloud platform can increase big time. This means you have a place to sync photos to, without having to increase the usage of your iPhone memory.
With iOS 5 Twitter is completely synced with your iPhone. There are tons of Twitter apps out there of course, but with the Twitter app from Twitter you are covered good enough already. You can do everything, even managing lists, and it all feels really natural!
Read It Later
With Read It Later you have a perfect place to sync all your articles to if you don't have the time right now to read them. With the free version you can do enough already and with a web bookmarklet you have the easy option to bookmark articles really fast.
How can we forget to include a photo app! With Instagram you can take photos and edit them really quick with some filters and share them immediately on your favorite social platform.
This is the perfect way, at least according to me, to make those cool vintage photo's. This truly pulls the best out of your iPhone camera!
