Cleveland Indians Hats and Caps

This is a great place to pick up a Cleveland Indians Hats or Cap while reading some interesting content that I will be writing about the Tribe!

Hats of the Cleveland Indians

This space or article is about Cleveland Indians Baseball Hats and Caps.  I have a lot of webspace out there about Major League Baseball Hats and the clubs they represent.  I enjoy baseball, it means summer is here, and going to a Major League Baseball Game is an event and a lot of fun.  I will be updating this article on the happenings of the Cleveland Indians, so stop by frequently and grab a hat on the way out!

Chief Wahoo and the Tribe have a pretty unique brandname.  You can thank Charlie Sheen for that.  Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn made it cool to be a Cleveland Indians fan again.  That and the fact there is a resurgence in the ball club in 2011.  The Tribe are currently in first place in the American League Central Divison.  Scary.  The Detroit Tigers are right behind them, going into the last week of June.  Major League Baseball is currently going through Interleague Play.

Let's take a look at what has made the Cleveland Indians so successful in 2011.  Batting Stats YTD are as follows: Runs 12th; Batting Average 18th; On base percentage 18th, and slugging percentage 10th.  Not bad.  Pitching stats YTD: ERA 15th; 17 Quality Starts, WHIP 19th, and Batting Average Against they are 26th.  So pretty middle of the pack.  The Tribe have fallen victim in June, to even out their hot April and May.  But they are still in first, and they have plenty of talent on the team to run the whole season competing for first place.

The Tribe still have Grady Sizemore and Travis Haffner from the 2007 season, but they have a new manager and their pitching staff has a bunch of quailty starts, which breeds winning.  Please stay tuned here for more updates on the Cleveland Indians and please snag a hat on the way out!

Cleveland Loses to the Colorado Rockies

June 21st, 2011

Old Jason Giambi hit a 3 run bomb to beat the Cleveland Indians and put the Detroit Tigers within a half game of first place tonight.  Lots of baseball to be played in the next few months, but it's getting exciting.  The Indians closer Chris Perez took the loss on a Seth Smith home run in the 9th.  Houston Street picked up the save for the Colorado Rockies.  Manny Acta is doing quite a job with this ball club, the only question is if they can hang on through September.  The Tribe has it's fan base back and I am looking for "Wild Thing" jerseys on the streets of Cleveland.
