These collectible figures from the DC Comic book range are especially for adult collectors. The quality of the figures, their clothing, equipment and special features are a must-have for fans of comic book heroes and superheroes. Of all the adult collectibles I love the Joker the best. The best one, in the author's opinion, is the portrayal of The Joker by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. .
DC Comics Collector Figures
DC Comic Superheroes are the staple diet for comic book fans but now we can also collect life-like figures from the DC Universe range. Super baddies too, I hasten to add.
Batman: The Dark Knight collectibles
The detail in the figure is superb, right down to the pack of playing cards in his pocket. Who can save Gotham City from this dreadful villain? Nobody, I hope. The superb scaled figure is one sixth of life size and comes with stylish clothing in the form of a shirt, tie, vest, blazer, pants, overcoat and even loafers. It is not just the clothing that maketh the man in this case because he has a tiny scaled handgun which has a removable clip plus a set of knives and a bank robber's mask. This figure also comes with a discrete display stand.

1:6 Scale Figure of The Joker
If you do decide to get the Joker then you will need his nemesis too in the shape of Batman. These figures are all in the 1:6 ration which makes most of them 12 inches tall which is a good size for displaying them in glass cabinets.
The Green Ones
DC Green Superheros
There are so many green superheroes and not one of them is saving the environment. We have Lanterns, Arrows and Hornets but all are good collectibles. Green Lantern is set to rejoin the Justice League for a big blockbuster movie in 2015. Incredibly, the Justice League first appeared in DC Comic books more than 50 years ago.
DC Comics Superman returns as new
Superman 2014 and 2015
A new up-to-date Superman is heading to movie screens in 2013. Superman first appeared in comic books in 1938. This modern Superman will appear in June of 2013 and will star Henry Cavill as the 'Man of Steel'. Ably assisting this cultural icon, in a cape, will be Russell Crowe who portrays Superman's father, Jor-El. New, updated figures of Superman are expected to be launched next year, so look out for him.
Justice League 2015
Following Marvel's success with the 'Avengers' it has been decided by DC Comics to launch a movie featuring superheroes from The Justice League of America. Such stalwarts as Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash and Green Lantern will team up in the Justice League to do battle against the Super-Villain baddies. If these four superheroes were not enough to win the day then you will be well pleased to know that Superman himself completes the group.
