Yet another heads-up regarding certain restrictive merchants. If a niche merchant (other than our "usual suspects" eBay, Walmart...) shows as "not being approved for everyone" in the VigLink lookup tool, it is probably necessary to send a support request to them, asking for inclusion.

However, there appear to be some selective merchants that have reservations about seeing their links on our site. VigLink will try to negotiate with them to some extend, but in the end they need to respect the directives of their merchants.

In such a case it is probably best to move on and find a more appreciative merchant.

A heads up to anyone who wants to use net-a-porter.com - it showed up as not being approved for everyone so I sent a support request (as Anne has mentioned above) and I've just received a reply that they don't want to approve Wizzley Yell.

I don't think it's so much an issue of content quality. Some merchants are just very particular about being promoted *only* on sites that are within their own niche. So for example, a certain exclusive fashion merchant wants to see their links only on other exclusive fashion sites. If this is their strategy then there's really not much we can do about it, except move on.
