Free Heart SVG Files for Craft Cutters

Are you planning to make heart-themed crafts for Valentine's day or another romantic occasion? Or perhaps a child's birthday party. 

I've put together this collection of SVG files that can be used with craft cutters. You can also print them out and cut them by hand but this gets tricky for some of the more intricate designs. 

I've also included some ideas for pretty craft papers and cardstock for use with heart and Valentine's themed designs.

A pretty Maori style heart outline which cuts as a single piece. 

You could scale this up to make a pretty Valentine's day picture frame. Or print out a few in different sizes and colors to make a card.

This crinkle-edged heart makes a good starting point for lots of Valentine's and hearth-themed crafts.

If you cut it in a variety of papers and sizes you can layer it to create interesting effects. Print on cardstock to make a gift tag or a heart cupcake topper to go on a food pick.

The Zebra nested hearts SVG is great for cutting lots of hearts very economically. 

You'll get a series of hollow hearts in various sizes which you can arrange on a card or make a mobile.

You can get some lovely craft paper and cardstock with a heart or Valentine's theme. Contrasting designs in a layered craft will look very effective. The papers in these packs are designed to work well together so you can have fun combining them. 

And here's my own contribution. Yeah, it's a bit different to all the pretty Valentine's heart designs!

This is a human heart SVG file for craft cutters! It's great for making geek Valentine's cards, gift tags and crafts, and fun for science themed craft projects too. 

The design is based on a public domain diagram of the human heart.

 I had to make some changes to make it suitable for cutting on a craft cutter. It's not fully scientifically accurate but it is based on what a human heart looks like and should be recognised as such.

Paper crafts are fun, but if you have are craft cutter there are lots more options too. You could make a template and decorate with fabric paint or rhinestones. Or you could create a vinyl sign to decorate for a romantic meal or sweetheart dance.
