The popularity of the Lego Minifigure toys has resulted in a range of new Lego products with an educational element. New alarm clocks based on the minifigure style but scaled up by a factor of 4 to stand jut under 8 inches tall have been released. The most popular Lego clocks, at the moment, are the Ninjago figures in their various colors, but there are dozens of other clocks to choose from too, to help kids to learn the time. This article will help you to see many of the clocks from Lego that are tailor made for your children. There is sure to be a Lego alarm clock to match their individual preferences.

The popularity of the Lego Minifigures Series has resulted in these novel Lego clocks based on the minifigure design. Clocks are 4 times bigger than the much loved Lego Minis.

The digital display on Cole's chest will show in red when you press down on the figures head. This is the same operation sequence for all of the Lego clocks featured in this article. Hitting him on the head will set the alarm snooze function, which lasts 5 minutes. It can also be used simply to check the actual time. For simplicity, when kids are learning about reading time the clock can be configured to 12 hour or 24 hour operation mode. Batteries are provided with each purchased clock. As you might expect, the clocks are durable (kid will be playing and knocking them over) and will take a bit of rough play with little effect on performance.

Star Wars Minifigure Clocks

The Lego Star Wars Minifigure Clocks are quite popular for some kids too. The Bobba Fett Minifigure Clock on the left is another entry to the Lego minifigure clock collection but I do prefer the Star Wars Yoda Minifigure Clock on the right. My grandson (8) has a Yoda Star Wars Lego alarm clock and after he presses the head down to stop the alarm, or set the snooze, he cuddles the figure under his pillow. More importantly still, he has learned to tell the time.

Buzz and Woody alarm clocks
Toy Story fans will love Buzz and Woody alarm clocks. These clocks from Lego are aimed at children aged between 5 and 9 but older kids still have one or other of them in the bedrooms. The clocks do last and sometimes the older children will pass them on to their siblings. I like the Woody one the best.

The figures below are the same size even though the photos sizes look different. They both stand at 8 inches high but like the minifigures they can be placed in a sitting position. Great for your young pirates.

Clocks for Kids
We are never too old for Lego or any of our other favorite toys. Grandchildren are a great excuse for buying toys. I try to keep up with the latest development in construction toys. I think that they are educational for all ages. Lego architecture is a classic example. Hope you son gets a nice gift from Santa. Thank you for visiting.
These are cute! Even though they are meant for kids, my son needs an alarm clock. Since he's trained in Martial arts for so many years, the Ninja one would be really neat for Christmas! I really think Lego is onto something here, because even older people like our toys! I have a huge Beanie Baby collection.
Great for the early birds, all right. You have a point too, because the clocks are great play things as well as educational toys. Lego are very clever indeed. Thank you, Tolovaj, for commenting and taking the time to read the article.
With these cute alarm clocks kids will surely promptly get up early in the morning. But I am not sure if they want to go to school without them;)
Lego really knows how to make everyday stuff entertaining!
