The mini figures included in this set include Harry Potter himself along with Hermoine Granger, unfortunately there's no Ron Weasley which would have made a nice addition to the set, but it does give you an excuse to buy another set!

The other Harry Potter characters represented in mini figure form are - Lord Voldemort, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, Angus Filch, Mrs Norris and 2 Dementors. As well as these mini figures there is also a cat (Angus Filch's cat to be precise) that's included.

Once you've build your Lego Hogwarts Castle you can look inside to see some amazing details which make this set such great fun to play with. Your child (or yourself) can recreate a lot of the different scenes from the movies as you can see Dumbledore's office as well as the Great Hall, the restricted area of the library and the Slytherin & Gryffindor common rooms.

This Lego set comes with three instruction books that clearly show you exactly how to build Hogwarts, which is actually four main parts that are joined together.

First is the Astronomer's Tower which includes the vanishing cabinet which can fit a minifigure into it.

Secondly is the Great Staircase Tower, when you build it it will include a Knight's armour that actually is where Tom Riddle's book is hidden.

Thirdly is the Great Hall complete with the dining table and decorated in the colors of both the Slytherin and Gryffindor Houses.

Lastly is Dumbledore's office which includes the secret, sliding stairs and is home to both the Sorting Hat and Gryffindor's Sword.
