I'm Mom to two boys who love pirates! They have lots of fun dressing up and role playing. Pirates are very popular with little kids so why not take the pirate theme into the backyard for the summer with some fun pirate outdoor toys.
You can choose from smaller pirate themed toys like a ball or sandbox toys through to a pirate ship sandbox or a pirate themed water play park.
I've also included some outdoor decorations like a pirate flag for decorating your backyard with a pirate them.
This pirate themed sandbox is an awesome outdoor toy for kids who love to play pirates. It includes a shade canopy - very important if you're out on the high seas in the hot sun, there's a built in seat too.

This is a great option because it means you have a toy you can can use all year round and you get to take it outdoors when the weather is good.
It's best to leave all the smaller pieces that come with the pirate ship indoors though as they are easy to lose outdoors.
