Pumpkin ornies are the perfect way to add fall touches to your home. Ornie is just a shortened form of ornament. These are really just Autumn ornaments for your home. Crafters started using ornie instead of ornament so that people wouldn't confuse them with Christmas ornaments. Not many people have Halloween trees or put Halloween ornaments on Christmas trees. Creating a new word signaled to buyers that they could use Halloween ornies very differently from traditional Christmas ornaments.
