Review of Kirkland Signature Microwave Popcorn

We go through a lot of microwave popcorn in our house, mostly because we watch a lot of movies and it is our favorite movie-time snack. This is why, when we were shopping at Costco about a month ago, I decided to try the Kirkland Signature brand of microwave popcorn.

My main reason for doing this was I liked the value. I was able to purchase 44 bags of popcorn for what it would cost me to buy about half as many bags from our regular brands. And, after trying the popcorn, I can honestly say I have no complaints.

There are a couple things, in particular, I like about this product that I could not honestly say about other brands. One of the main ones is I like how this popcorn pops almost completely. There are a few kernels in the bottom of the bag (as is usually the case). But, it is a much smaller quantity than many other brands we've purchased and the bags are always full when we take them out of the microwave.

I also found I like the taste of this popcorn more than I do most other brands. There's a good quantity of salt and butter on it. But, it's not to the point the popcorn loses its own flavor. I've had quite a few other brands that were much too salty and tasted like they had fake butter on them. I don't get that when having this brand.

In fact, this is a product everyone in my family seems to enjoy. My daughters can share a bag and completely empty it while my wife and I can do the same (and likely could eat a bag each if we really wanted to). This is definitely a plus for us, especially given the lower cost per bag.

This is a nice, bargain-priced brand of microwave popcorn that offers both quantity and quality. I do recommend it if you have a chance to buy it.
