Review of Kwik Trip Kitchen Cravings Waffle Breakfast Sandwich

Despite my addiction to Kitchen Cravings breakfast sandwiches and having a Kwik Trip just a block away from my office, I have successfully cut back to the point I only have one on a very rare occasion now, mostly as a way of keeping my monthly breakfast budget under control.

However, I recently received a coupon for the new Waffle Breakfast Sandwich. I thought it sounded interesting and the coupon allowed me to buy it for only 99 cents (plus tax) so I decided to give it a try. And, I have to say, it's going to be hard for me to avoid buying another one.

Since I do enjoy other Kitchen Cravings breakfast sandwiches (a little too much), I wasn't really expecting not to like this one. However, after having it, I can definitely say the waffle makes a world of difference, at least in my opinion.

One of my only real complaints about breakfast sandwiches in general is they usually come on some sort of croissant or muffin that I find I just don't enjoy all that much. As a result, a lot of the time, I'll wind up eating the egg and sausage and throwing the rest away. 

That was not the case with this particular sandwich. The waffle bun was actually very enjoyable, especially with the maple flavor and, for the first time in what seems like forever, the only thing that wound up in my garbage can was the wrapper.

The sandwich also proved to be very filling as a result of this. Normally, I wind up having a light snack an hour or two later. But, this time, I was perfectly satisfied until it was time for lunch. That made it worth even the non-coupon price.

Not only did I enjoy this breakfast sandwich, I think it might actually be one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you get a chance to do so.
