Review of Wal-Finate 4-Hour Allergy Relief Pills

Everybody in our house suffers both from seasonal allergies and, during the winter, dust allergies. As a result of this, there is hardly a day when one of us isn’t sneezing or complaining about itchy or watery eyes. And, while my youngest daughter can’t take this particular product just yet, it has become the allergy relief of choice for my wife, oldest daughter and me.

The main reason for this is it is one of the few allergy medicines out there that consistently has worked for us. Other brands, some cheaper, others more expensive, either just don’t work for us at all or wear off too quickly (this is especially true of the allergy pills offering up to 24 hours of relief). This product keeps our symptoms under control and, even though it only promises relief for up to four hours, at least from our experience, it has lasted considerably longer than that.

One thing I personally love about this product is it doesn’t make me overly drowsy. Granted, if I take it at night and sit down on the couch, I might feel my eyes getting a bit heavy. However, during the day, when I’m moving around, I don’t experience that. I can’t say that about many other allergy medicines (especially Benadryl, which always makes me feel groggy), especially since the ones that fall into the non-drowsy category rarely work for me.

Another thing I like about these pills is the size. I have problems swallowing large pills (my daughter has this problem too) and I like the fact these are very small. In fact, I have, on occasion, managed to swallow one of these pills when I didn’t have anything readily available to drink (though I would not recommend that). This, compared to other medicines, is a big plus for this product.

We do spend quite a bit more on this particular allergy medicine that we would spend on some other brands. However, this is a product that has proven to be worth the extra money and one I would recommend if you suffer from seasonal allergies, dust allergies or both.
