Sweet 16, a major event in a girl’s life is keenly awaited by the girl and her mother. She is of course waiting for ages till she could turn sixteen, appreciate and take pleasure in those presents. This landmark event is commemorated always by gifts from mother to the daughter. It is an excitement time for both. A tough job for the mother is in selecting a gift that is unique and creative. The doting mother would go to great lengths to choose the gift and wrap it with all her love.
This is the age of electronic gadgets. Today’s generation takes to gadgets as a fish takes to water. Electronic geeks and enthusiasts are lapping up every new gadget to hit the market. My daughter like everyone of her generation is tech savvy to the hilt and has a great taste for gizmos and gadgets. At sweet 16, she is as knowledgeable as a computer wizard if not more. She loves playing computer games and is marvelous at computer programming.
With so many gadgets in the market there is a long list of “could be gifts” for her. It is not easy to fathom the mind of a 16 year old girl on the threshold of adulthood learning to face new life gracefully and adeptly. She loves gadgets, outdoors, music, books. Even though she has outgrown her little dolls, she still loves to have the life size American girl doll who has vivid eyes, who never complains and is always ready to accompany her.

What was your "Sweet 16 Birthday Gift"?
In particular, I appreciate the very first image of the porcelain mother and daughter on the sofa with the feline sentient mother and daughter and the ginger jar and the porcelain music boxes.
Wouldn't it be quite fetching for the open pages of the book that the mother and the daughter enjoy to allow affixing real photos?
These are some nice ideas. I like the music box and the charm bracelet best. Pinning (note that the music box is currently unavailable on Amazon). (The one you chose for your thumbnail is also very cute:). Pinning)
It is high time since I had bought tickets to some festive occasions. The music festival tickets seem like a great idea for "sweet 16" b'day.
My daughter wanted tickets to a music festival... I got them for her, and a set for her brother who turned 18... they had a wonderful time together
