Vintage Style Christmas Cards

These vintage Christmas cards that I've selected are based on mainly Victorian images and show vintage images of people enjoying the festive Christmas season.

Activities such as collecting Christmas trees or building snowmen are things that we think of as being part of a perfect Christmas - the Christmases from the movies or from stories our fathers told us when we were younger.

I do remember collecting a Christmas tree when I was younger, but I never built a snowman on Christmas day before - even knowing this I still associate building snowmen with Christmas which goes to show how powerful images such as the ones on these Christmas cards can be.

We always look back in time with a touch of nostalgia and at Christmas time we're celebrating family and friends which means the sharing of memories and that leads to feelings of goodwill.....no wonder so many of us are drawn to vintage Christmas cards!

The vintage Christmas cards available opposite are through a site called Zazzle which is a print on demand site.   This means that you can customize these cards to add your very own message inside of the card.   This is a great way to add your own touch to your personal cards for your friends and family.   It's even a great idea for you to add a special message on your Christmas cards for clients if you run a business.

One of my favorite type of vintage Christmas cards are the ones that feature children - they always look like they're having fun with such simple activities.
