Can't you just imagine the squeals and laughter when you serve up waffles made on one of these fun-shaped waffle irons the morning after your child's sleep-over party? You'll be the most popular Mom or Dad on the block if you can make a breakfast that fancy! And with a waffle iron that does all the work, your job is an easy one.
Whether your kids love Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Disney Princesses, or the whole Disney gang, you'll be able to make waffles to please everyone.
If you put a bowl of berries on the table, the kids can decorate their waffles with faces and get their berry goodness at the same time. A little dab of yogurt, or whipped cream if you dare, will let them make beards and hairdos.
I'll bet you'll get caught doing it, too.

Good point, Tolovaj! All in moderation!
These for sure look yummy. I love how many options are available. But on the other side... If I try all I want, I would probably need some additional gymnastic equipment, right?
;)
Aren't they fun? You're welcome. Pass the maple syrup, please.
I didn't even know these things existed. Wow! Thanks for the info.
Sounds yummy, Marko. I can fruit in the summer/fall so we usually have fruit for toppings, though my husband is a butter and maple syrup fan, so we use both, sometimes at the same time. I like a dollop of plain yogurt on top.
We don't make waffles often but when we do it is usually some winter weekend. We like to eat them with apricot or strawberry jam.
Thanks, Debbie! It really takes less time to make waffles than one would think, especially with a decent waffle iron. I have an old waffle iron, but I'm thinking of getting a shape one for when my grandchildren visit.
I love this article.. Great ideas.. I love to make homemade waffles for special occasions..
Debbie
Aw, Sandy, you need a mother-daughter breakfast date so you can eat waffles to your hearts' desire.
Katie, I think that batter container is ingenious. You can even measure your ingredients in it and use it to mix them up. Anything that makes the process less messy gets my vote.
Both my daughter and I love waffles, but my husband doesn't. So even though I have a couple of waffle irons, they don't get made much.
