I have lots of tips to keep you focused as you spark your weight loss once again ending the cycle of fat.

First Tip - To keep yourself focused on weight loss keep one of your favorite summer outfits hanging in your closet, where you see it every day and try it on once a week. This is a great way to remind yourself to maintain all the while really thinking about what you eat.  Compare your food choices to that cute little number hanging in the closet. A good meal replacement is a powerful key to keep that metabolism burning fat.

I keep a bikini hanging on a hook in my bathroom to serve as a great reminder. I have a hot tub and make a practice of putting on my bikini and setting in the hot tub once a week. This helps me to stay on task and in shape.  Seeing yourself in summer clothes is one of the best motivators, and really look at yourself as if you're about to wear this out in public.

  • Drink ice water, your body will burn extra calories bringing the ice water to body temperature and it fills you up curbing appetite.

  • Drink two to three cups of green tea daily as it boost your metabolism and is packed with antioxidants to keep you feeling good and healthy.
  • Drink Oolong tea as it prevents the body from absorbing fat.
  • Have plenty of sugar free gum on hand, preferably mint, to chew when you feel the urge to nibble. This also gives you a fresh and clean mouth you won’t want to ruin by eating.
  • Add spices like red and black pepper to you food it raises your metabolism.
  • Get at least six hours of sleep a day. Sleep deprivation lowers you metabolism upwards of 15 %.
  • Pamper yourself with facials, pedicures and manicures. You can do this yourself at home with home spa treatments. Taking care of yourself and looking good inspires you to eat healthy.
  • Have lots of healthy low calorie snacks to eat like celery you can munch away on celery without the guilt of calories.
  • Cut out all white starches and eat less bread all together.

SimplySara, It really does matter, all natural apple cider vinegar that is organic is always best. Let me know if you have trouble finding it and I'll add it to this page.

Re: The apple cider vinegar, does it have to be a certain kind? I read somewhere that it did, so I never bothered with it. If the regular grocery store variety will do the trick, I will certainly give it a try!

sheilamarie, Yes the vinegar really works, in many ways. It works best for weight loss using ice water as the very cold temperature of the water makes your metabolism spike and thus burn more calories losing weight. Time for us all to shed the winter weight. Thanks for commenting.

I need to try the vinegar in the water. I also keep outfits and bathing suits hanging in sight so it motivates me to be active so I can wear them. Great tips.
