Movie Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
Saw the movie (in 3D - no alternative where I live) last week with my 8 year old grandson and daughter (his mum). We all enjoyed it immensely. Having read The Hobbit 40 odd years ago I cannot determine what was original Hobbit and what is added ...

Work From Home Success
Yep, I agree with both. It takes time to make money and the reason for that is it takes time to learn how are things working in the internet. It took me three months to understand how to build authority on Squidoo. Now, after a year and a half I ...

Fry’s Planet Word, Another Nice Stephen Fry Project
Stephen Fry is one of my favorite comedians. I enjoy his shows as much as Monty Pythons. He is witty and he has class which can't be find anywhere outside of Great Britain. I never heard about this project before. I suppose I spend too much time ...

Work From Home Success
It does take time to earn money online. I didn't earn any decent money for a couple of years after starting at Zazzle and now I am learning to write for income.

CS Lewis synchronicity and the trees of Mars
The Chronicles of Narnia were also a favourite of mine while growing up. And, while I had a sci-fi stage in my 20s, I never did read Lewis' other books even though they were on my list of to-reads. Maybe I'll go back and do that now.

Cinderella: we can all relate with her, can't we?
It was fascinating to read about the history of this fairy tale. I'm not surprised that Cinderella can be found in different versions in different cultures - there are some themes, as you note, that are common to all humanity.

Anne Anderson, illustrator and her fairy tale paintings
Thanks so much for this. Like Rebecca, I would never have known about her but for this article. Now you have me interested in illustrations as art and that is "dangerous" for me since I so like to collect things.

Arthur Rackham: the most influential illustrator of 20th century?
Rackham's world is really special and I think mythology, not fairy tales suits him best. His characters were never cute. But they are deep and humorous and more you look at them more you will like them. About movement... Yes, Rackham was known ...

Anne Anderson, illustrator and her fairy tale paintings
@Mira I think her reputation suffered because of the WW2. After the war Art Deco rapidly lost popularity and everything was aimed more towards functionality. But things are always changing and one day she will be back on the top list.
