Jaegerschnitzel - The Unbreaded Truth
Chef - a lot of places serve it with a very rich creamy type of sauce (bordering on sickly!)

Jaegerschnitzel - The Unbreaded Truth
We had a Bavarian Butchery in Durban, South Africa. We used to get Jaegerschnitzel portions all nicely pounded and a similar size so that we could take pairs with some cheese in the middle, coat in egg yolk and bread crumbs and then bake in the ...

Jaegerschnitzel - The Unbreaded Truth
Yes, Stazjia...it was kind of funny. :)
Paul - isn't Carbonara served with bacon and eggs? What type of sauce is served in England...a bechamel of sorts?

Jaegerschnitzel - The Unbreaded Truth
Not me....my Maternal Grandparents were from Germany, so my Grandmother used to make all of that "stuff". Truth be told, I tried Saurkraut and hated it, so I never tried another German dish.

Jaegerschnitzel - The Unbreaded Truth
I've never had this but it sounds good. I think I'd prefer it unbreaded and this how I'll make it when I try your recipe.
Don't you love it when someone acts like an expert when you know they are wrong!

Jaegerschnitzel - The Unbreaded Truth
Wonderful story and great recipe. Reminds me of some friends of ours who visited me when I was living in Rome and I took them to the place that served the best Carbonara in Rome (La Carbonara). They had a plate placed in front of them and ...

Granddaughters
I loved your story...it touched my heart. I have 4 granddaughters age 4 months to 7 years and each one is more precious than the next. Unfortunately my granddaughters live a distance away from me (2 are 4 hours away and 2 are 9 hours away) so ...

Me vs. I - Which One When?
You know, I don't specifically remember being taught this rule (I graduated in 1983), but I certainly understood it well enough. (Then again, I enjoyed diagramming sentences, too!)
It seems so simple to teach this way, and people always ...

Me vs. I - Which One When?
You and I need to be teaching grammar in schools! lol Not really me, but certainly you should! Old grammar lessons like this one are simply not taught anymore. Great idea to make a page about some of these common grammatical errors!

Granddaughters
Beautiful. I love being a grandma and in fact, I think maybe that is what I was supposed to be all along.

Me vs. I - Which One When?
I see you are a kindred spirit to my grammar-loving son! I'd like to see a lesson on when to use "bring" and "take." Seems to me the misuse of these words is becoming more prevalent.
P. S. I never heard "I" and "me" taught this way. Simple!
