I am a physician by training, a health educator, a professor, an expert in life challenges, loss, grief and bereavement, a lecturer and author. I am also a mother to two energetic tween girls. Since having my daughters I have changed my focus from disease treatment to promoting wellness promotion. I have been teaching college students nutrition for 7 years and graduate students grief, loss and bereavement for 5 years. In addition to developing and teaching classes on nutrition and wellness, I have also taught courses on vitamins, herbs and nutritional supplements and creating wellness.
