How to Make a Halloween Mask for Kids

Paper plate masks are the easiest for a child to make. They're a fun craft and they look pretty good when they're finished too. 

I've included a great video showing how to make a Pumpkin Paper Plate Mask. But don't let your creativity stop there.

You can create other Halloween paper plate masks using the same instructions just by adding some creativity and imagination.

To make a Paper Plate Mask you'll need:

• Paper plates (make sure they're paper and not plastic plates)
• Construction paper in different colors for decorating (the Crayola paper is good)
• A safe string or long piece of elastic 
• Child-friendly glue
• Non-toxic paint 
• Feathers and other items you would like to decorate the mask with 

By following the instructions in the video your kids can make some really great paper plate masks for Halloween.

The video just shows how to make a basic paper mask but you can add some creativity and imagination to make more impressive looking masks. You can paint the mask or add construction paper in different colors to decorate it. You can also use string or elastic to instead of paper so your child can wear the mask.
