Second Tier Brands That Still Produce Great Tennis Shoes!

Playing competitive tennis requires a sturdy pair of shoes, but you don't want to have to pay a fortune for them.  The Adidas Barricade 7.0 just came out and if you're like me you certainly can't swing $125 for a new pair of them.  That's why I've compiled this list to help you make a selection for a cheaper pair of shoes.  There are still plenty of high quality options out there that won't break the bank.  Read on for the list!

Top 5 Cheap Tennis Shoes That Still Deliver

  1. Adidas Barricade 6.0 - This shoe just recently recieved a huge price cut.  While $89 may not be the cheapest price, these are a premier pair of tennis shoes that might otherwise go for around $120.  I've been happy with the Barricade's in the past and this release is no different.
  2. K-Swiss Ultrascendor - K-Swiss is more of a second tier brand, but that's what helps drive down the cost of their tennis shoes.  This pair has won multiple awards in publications like Tennis Magazine for the comfort and wide fit it provides.  I'd certainly recommend this to any beginning or intermediate tennis player for only around $80
  3. Babolat Propulse - In general this is a great shoe.  The newest model is the Propulse 3, but it is just a bit too expensive for the lack of durability.  The Propulse 2 however is just right.  It still comes with a durability guarantee, and you can get it for just $69.  This is a great bargain for a very solid pair of shoes.
  4. New Balance 851 - This shoe is simply awesome for the comfort it provides.  I've not used too many shoes from New Balance in the past.  This was actually the first tennis based release I tried from New Balance, and I wasn't disappointed.  You can pick these up for just around $77.  The best part of this pair though is the fact that they come with a full year durability guarantee.  That's quite an offer and one that ensures you won't need to pay for another pay for a long time.

And the winner... the Adidas Barricade 6.0

I know this is supposed to be a list of cheap tennis shoes, but I just can't help but give the win to the Adidas Barricade 6.0.  That's because even with the $89 price tag they still come out on top in almost every category.  If you want durability, performance, or comfort, this pair of tennis shoes has you covered.  This is the perfect time to buy them now that prices have been lowered considerably.
