Skylanders Party Supplies

Skylanders is actually based upon the popular video game character named Spyro.  Toys for Bob – an American video game developer - was tasked with reviving Vivendi’s old Spyro the Dragon franchise.  And, after going through several initial ideas they came up with Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.  Based upon the results, the decision to go with a kids friendly version featuring the integration of figures and video game consoles instead of a more mature Spyro game was the right one.

Skylanders: Giants

A sequel named Skylanders: Giants was released back in October 2012.  This version of the game features giant figures that are considerably bigger than the figures from the initial Skylanders launch.  The larger character figures are also much bigger and more powerful than the other characters in the Skylanders video game portion of the game.

Skylanders: Spyro’s Universe

A spinoff Web game of the popular Skylanders franchise is currently in beta.  The game is called Skylanders: Spyro’s Universe and will feature online multiplayer gaming.  Check out the official Skylander’s Spyro’s Universe webpage.

Currently, there are only two available official Skylanders party supplies themed options: Skylanders Cupcake Rings and Skylanders Cake Decoration Kits.  There hasn’t been any mention about a full line of Skylanders themed party supplies, but you can bet that it’ll happen if Skylanders continues to grow.  Until then, here are some ideas for party supplies to help bring Spyro and the rest of the Skylanders universe to your next party:

Skylanders Cupcake Rings
