This Christmas Television is back with a vengeance. TV is smarter with 3D and internet ready capabilities. It would be an insult to call it idiot box. If you're buying a tv today, you should definitely get yourself an HD (High Definition) model, and you should consider one that's ready for 3D tv. Yes, that's right, 3 dimensional viewing is coming to your living room. There aren't many movies or shows out yet that show in 3D, but when they do come out, you don't want to miss the action.
UltraHD (aka UHDTV) HDTV's use LED, LCD or Plasma screens, though the LED screen seems to be the most popular and most widely used right now.
UltraHD has a colorspace of 75.8% - that is: it shows 75% of the colors we see in real life. Compare that to 53.6% for the movie screen and 'ordinary' HD tv at a mere 35.9%.
