What a story! I wish I could visit. So glad some people take up the cause, but sad that it has to be done at all.

I've been asking all of the Irish people that I know since writing this. They've all heard about the Hungry Fields, whatever name they have for it. The name changes, but the story doesn't.

I'm not 100% sure I believe in ghosts, mainly because I'm a very "you have to see it to believe it" person usually. Ghost stories are older than pretty much every existing religion, though and they developed in places where it is impossible for there to have been co-ordinating to create a few. They were obviously made independently. Stuff like that and articles like this make me wonder...

I agree, originality is great, but talking from my experience reader is not always predictable. Sometimes he (she) really doesn't want to read original point of view, or he (she) is just looking for a quick answer to a problem which in author's opinion can't be solved quickly...

Some good points on Christmas ornaments. They really should be child proof. I also noticed more and more toys should be child proof. They should be made from more durable material so they could not be so easy to break and in many cases become dangerous because of sharp edges and small pieces...
Shatterproof Christmas Tree ornaments look like a good solution, but I think it all starts with well informed and responsible adults...
