The Soldier Poets of World War II
Sorry the article isn't better, but the copyright principle meant I couldn't write the piece I wanted. Unfortunately, the cut and paste I was left with is not very satisfactory, but I shall re-edit it next week and perhaps it will look better.

Pelagius: a sadly traduced theologian
I doubt the Druid conspiracy theory, but Irish Christianity was influenced by druidical thought. This is shown in the Celtic cross, whose circle round the cross represents God as known through nature, in the light of the sun, which the druids ...

Pelagius: a sadly traduced theologian
I get the Pelagian/Pagan thing too. As a Pagan, I've looked at the generally ascribed points and I really can't see what all of the fuss is about. Mind you, I've also read that Pelagianism was some kind of subversive conspiracy to get Druidism ...

Pelagius: a sadly traduced theologian
So basically Gildas could have written to all his monkish friends and made a good case for them destroying any evidence of Arthur that they found? It would be amazing if one of those letters had survived! OR, it's just occurred to me that most ...

Beltane: Traditional Time for a Pagan Handfasting
The original bonfires involved burning bones, that's why we call them bonfires. It's not a typo. <3 And glad that you liked it. :D

Pelagius: a sadly traduced theologian
I suppose that with Celestine and Germanus having put the screws on Pelagians, some later Pelagiansmight have found succour in a pagan Arthur, who did not see a need to distinguish one Christan from another.

The Soldier Poets of World War II
Before I read this, I'd have told you that I didn't know any WW2 poets. But I knew most of those. Thank you for educating me. <3

Beltane: Traditional Time for a Pagan Handfasting
I so did. :) I did have much more on the Statue of Liberty in there, but it wasn't really that relevant, so I took it out. I've put it aside for a future article, as I think I promised you one on that ages ago.

The Jesus' Wife Papyrus
Your observation about the timing of the report is insightful and valid; and I must confess I missed seeing it. Thankyou! People make a lot of the Gnostic Gospels, and it is irritating, as most of them were written long after Jesus. What I ...
