I also love a good ghost story. Do tell the story of your aunt's ghost!

I think it's just slick marketing. I'm seeing things now like Keep Calm and Eat Cupcakes. I was in Barnes & Noble (the large American Book Chain) the other day and they had an entire display with products with variations of that slogan.

Nothing that is going on in the US remotely comes close to the British experience of the early 1940s. I don't like cheapening history - and I guess that's what I think this does - and without educating anyone.

I love a good ghost story. I do believe in ghosts. My aunt had one haunting her house.

I wonder if they would eat a small dog or a cat? In CA we have rattlesnakes sunning themselves on the road. Those you definitely don't want to get near.

Thanks Brenda, I know how you feel. There are so many items that I want to add to our home. Maybe by the time we're in our fifties, it'll be done! But it's lots of fun to dream.

It would be so much fun to own one of these. I'm going to buy a lottery ticket.

Okay, I gotta have this Katie. I'm coming back here tomorrow after I get paid, to buy some from you.

Very pretty beads. I love handmade items like this and I do like this idea. The jewelry you purchased is so pretty. (That lady with the hole-punching job doesn't look too thrilled... LOL.)

Great information. Thanks for sharing. I think I will pass this on to a few of my family members who may need to check into the shoes issue.

I don't enjoy going out shopping all that much, so shopping online is very appealing to me. I like your suggestion of making a list of all the things I need, and going through that list while shopping online. Usually I've just done it 'piecemeal'...just a couple items at a time...but doing a big list would be much more time and cost effective.

Thank you SallyTx. Pleased to know you found the information useful.

This slogan is very, very much in vogue at the moment. I don't know whether it's because it's so very British and we have a Diamond Jubilee here; but it's also international. Maybe it's because of the Recession that we keep dipping into.

I'm glad that I was able to enlighten you. I'm usually good for British history, so feel free to ask me things like that. I may be able to help.

I really know that feeling! I haven't been brave enough to watch the sequel yet!

I've seen the South Park HumancentIPAD now and it's a brilliant antidote to the actual film. :)

Spring is a wonderful season. Life begins again.

Great ideas and excellent recipes! ;D
