Sometimes, as parents, we made decisions for our children that they don't agree with. And that's part of just being a responsible adult. We have to do the best we can and pray for God's grace on the rest.

A beautiful analysis of these three sites. Like you, I write at all three. Squidoo is my bread and butter, but I hope that Hubpages and Wizzley will become profitable in the future.

With changes on both Squidoo and Hubpages, it is hard to predict exactly where they are going. Many people have earned quite a bit of money on both platforms. Wizzley has the advantage of being able to start post Panda, and work with the new reality of writing online. I hope that Hubpages manages to bounce back over time, and I am positive that there is a lot of life left in Squidoo. I believe that Wizzley will do very well in the new writing reality because they are starting from a much better place with awesome experienced writers, and a great leadership staff.
I am a huge proponent of diversifying your income streams, and Wizzley is one more place that we can earn.

Don't watch it. Couldn't care less about this. I'm sure there is good talent coming out of the show, but it just doesn't interest me. At all.

You have done an excellent job comparing the three sites. The future looks bright for Wizzley. I agree with Susan52...diversification is the best option when writing online. In other words, we should never have all of our eggs in one basket.

I like all 3 platform, they have a lot in common, but Yes, Wizzley is more user friendly, more easy to create, more profit oriented, and the response time of programmers team when we have a problem is just miraculously short.

Good read - I personally never considered using anything other than normal mouse traps. However I avoid the wooden ones - I found some awesome plastic traps that have a much wider trigger area around the food, so the mouse cannot get to the bait without setting off the trap. I caught three mice in 12 hours with one of those traps!

Interesting comparison of the sites. I'd be sorry to see HubPages go as I've had some surprising success with my very few hubs. I think Wizzley has the advantage of getting started after the Google adjustment and is being managed to avoid the problems that suddenly plagued HubPages and even Squidoo to a lesser extent. Whether your conclusions are accurate or not, it's clear that diversification is a good thing when writing online.

Great article Wry, I suspect Hubpages is a 'sinking ship' and that Wizzley is the closest to having the right idea as far as being the 'next big thing'. So long as they closely police what they allow to be published here they will do well. So far I love it here :)
