Learn How to Read Chinese and Have Fun Too

Tai Bang Le! Great language learning tips. It's a hard language, but it's a great feeling when you can interact with locals in their own tongue.

Best Spiritual Christmas gifts and Top Religious Holiday Presents

I live in a Buddhist country and it seems that most visitors forget the gender equality issues that the religion has. Glad to see that you have mentioned it.

How to become a great public speaker

Hi, Sheilamarie.
Thanks for your comment.
There are ways in which we can built up a good 'oral vocabulary.' Most people have a fairly limited one as compared with their knowledge of the meaning of the words they can understand when they read. For example, if you only use, say, a thousand common words, and you choose to learn just two new words a week, in a year you'll have learned 104. In ten years you'll have doubled your vocabulary.
I used to do this so years back. It works. Give it a go.

Alex, The Cat Without A Tail

Thanks everyone, she really is a cute cat! I wondered if the lack of a tail would affect her balance, but it's never seemed to bother her!

Skateboards for Girls

This is a great idea. So often when boys dominate a sport, the gear is done in a way that doesn't make girls want to attempt it. Cool!

Google Social Networking

Hi! This is fantastic... you all are really engage in the conversation...
Sure, it is new, and nobody know everything, not even Google as they still work on it... being in beta.
But being in from the beginning will pay in time even though it is a learning curve, and some things/features will disappear other will be enhance and change beyond recognition in near future...
This is my opinion:
1) Google+ is the first huge step toward Web 3.0 where everything can be connected...
2) Having an empire of useful applications in place already, Google is the single company which can accomplish this gigantic step
3) Nobody will block people who aren't on Google email to join Google+, but connecting well all the pieces of the puzzle will be more difficult to enforce for them
4) I'll continue to keep an eye, to learn along, to practice, and... you already know me... to share
Thank you for making this post a place for debate, share, learn and connect
All the best
Michey
