Love these old maps! They really are works of art and so fascinating to look at. We have a guy at the mall that sells them and they are so cool! I'm glad people are still interested in them. Had to chuckle on the finding how to get somewhere today from the internet...used my Smart Phone Navigator App to show me how to get to Louisville this past weekend. Wow, that thing was slick!

I love that your husband kept the afghan that his Mom made him! We have the afghans that my Grandma made for my daughters when they were babies. I thought this might be a fun tradition to carry on.

My husband has an afghan like this from when he went away to school. It is in bright orange, brown and tan. Can you guess what decade that is from? His mom made it for him. :)
