I can testify to this advice as a homeschooling mom with 8 years experience now...Wow those years have just flown by. The single most important thing I have come to terms with is that homeschooling is not the same as schooling at home. Everything is a lesson when you homeschool, you do math in the car (or while milking the goats) you practice spelling in line at the store or going for a walk, when you are talking with your kids and a question comes up you all run to the computer to research it. Homeschooling is more of a lifestyle than a chore. I really didn't mean to be so wordy about this..thanks for posting the lens.
