Dragon toys are very popular with kids who love the stories and legends of knights and castles. Let's look at some of the best toys for kids who love dragons.

Dragon Toys for Kids

I have two boys who love dragons and knights and all the mythology surrounding them. On this page I've gathered together some of our favorite dragon toys and gifts for kids from toddlers and preschoolers through to school aged kids.

Dragon fans will also include the latest DVDs in the How to Train Your Dragon series - they are available just in time for Christmas 2011. There's a fun online video game too.

This Happy Nappers Dragon is very cute! He's a plush dragon that comes with a plush castle.

Happy Napper Dragon goes into his castle to make a pillow to cuddle up with. The castle also has a doorbell.

This is a fun toy suitable for the littlest dragon lovers. A lot of bigger dragon fans will like this cute fellow too - he's a dragon they can take to bed with them.

Imaginext Red Dragon and Figure

This Fisher-Price Imaginext 6-Legged dragon is very cool! He had buttons to make his neck lunge forward and his wings flap.

We love the bright red color and he comes with an Imaginext knight figure with accessories.

Imaginext is brilliant for little kids who are ready for action figures but need something that is designed for little hands to operate.

Playmobil Dragon

From age 4

As I write this page my three year old son is playing with this giant Playmobil dragon. It actually belongs to his older brother who got it as a Christmas gift from his Grandpa last year - Grandpa always buys Playmobil and is guaranteed to make the boys very happy!

This dragon is a favorite because it's big and has a button on his nose that you can press for LED fire. He also comes with a dragon knight rider.

The wings are well designed so they pop off rather than breaking. They can easily be popped back in when this happens. This dragon fits with the dragon knights Playmobil range so you can build up a collection.

When this dragon spreads his wings, he's very big and impressive. But the wings fold in close to his body so he doesn't take up much room to store.

The Dragon knight comes with lots of accessories which the kids always love.
