A Wizzography
by lou16
What exactly is a wizzography? It sounds like something magical doesn't it? Join me (lou16) and discover what a wizzography really is.
What is a Wizzography?
A Collection of Articles or The Minutes of a Wizard's Gathering?
If you chose the first option you'd be right, a wizzography is a collection of articles on the content site called Wizzley. I do love the name wizzography though because it does conjure up thoughts of magic and wizardry. You'll be glad to know that some of the articles you come across on this Wizzley site have been known to cast an enchantment spell over you so that you just want to keep reading.
Wizzley is a relatively new site but already contains a few great Wizzographies and this particular wizzography belongs to me - 'Hello, I'm Lou16.'
Do You Zazzle?
I do Zazzle and I currently have two Zazzle stores, although I'm planning on opening a few more. My main Zazzle store is called Lou's Zazzle Store. Not a very original name I know, but I do tend to use the name Lou on a lot of my writings, which is funny if you knew me when I was a child.
When I was a young child I would refuse to answer to the name of Lou, I expected people to use my full name - Louanne. My parents both respected this (although I know at times it could be frustrating) and when other members of my extended family called me Lou I just ignored them!
As I got older I allowed one of my aunts to call me Lou and once that happened most of them followed suit including my parents. My friends, however, never called me Lou until I made a very big life change - I moved half way around the world.
It seems to be quite an antipodean thing that everyone shortens your name without asking if it's okay. I've actually gotten used to it and am very comfortable to be called Lou or Louanne although I was a little exasperated when I was called Louise a year ago. A friend of my hubby's who had always called me Lou was talking and invited hubby out and said, 'oh, bring Louise too.' Is there something he's not telling me?!
Back to the wizzography - as I was saying I do Zazzle and my first article on Wizzley was about how to make money on Zazzle. I have since published another article on my Zazzle Journey.
Here are links to all of my making money online articles on Wizzley and I hope you find them helpful yourself.

Lou16's Tips
Zazzle Now Have Notebooks!
Zazzle is constantly looking at providing their artists with different products to put their art on and when I saw that they do notebooks I was very happy. I love notebooks and have piles of them in my home, but gorgeous looking ones like Zazzle offers - I've found paradise!
Okay maybe that's going a little overboard, but I have had fun making a few and I've even created some pages here on Wizzley about them.
My Zazzle Stores on Wizzley
I have several Zazzle stores these days as my main one was getting large and all over the place in terms of what you could find, setting up some niche stores seemed the way to go and a couple of them have really taken off.
What does this have to do with Wizzley? Well I've written articles about them to introduce you to them (well not all of them yet, but we're working on it!)
Fantastic T-Shirts
Superhero Tees, Big Bang Theory Tees and More
I actually have a blog on t-shirts, they are such a comfy thing to wear. I don't know about you, but give me a pair of jeans and a comfy tee and I'm happy as can be!
My second article on Wizzley was actually on Superman t-shirts. I have a few articles on Squidoo about Superman iphone cases, mugs etc and I was due to do a page on Superman t-shirts which meant it was an ideal thing put on here instead.
I later also made pages on Big Bang Theory t-shirts as this is one of my family's favorite shows at the moment. Personally I still love Dexter, but Big Bang Theory makes me laugh and Dexter's not playing at the moment!

Lou16's a Mum
I'm a mum to one, a gorgeous tween aged daughter who has in recent times discovered cosmetics. In particular she loves nail polish and has been growing her nails, unfortunately she decided to try and file her nails by herself and has triangle shaped ones that I'm trying to get back into shape for her!
It's hardly a surprise that I've since started writing about nail polish. I've been fascinated by nail art for a long time and even brought a set of nail art pens a few years ago. I've personally used nail decals and had fun with patterned nails.
I first started writing about OPI's Black Shatter nail polish on one of my blogs and then I wrote a page on Squidoo about the whole Katy Perry Nail Polish Collection which included Black Shatter. Then when OPI brought out their second shatter nail polish - Silver Shatter I wrote on hubpages about it.
Now OPI have released a number of different colored shatter nail polishes so guess what? Yes I wrote an article here. My daughter has just 'discovered' a new type of nail polish so there may be a new article soon - stay posted! It's here - the article that is! My daughter has been wanting color changing nail polish since a friend of hers wore some to school.
Nail Polish for Your Nail Art!
My daughter has lots of interests - some last a long time and others are fleeting. One of the things she has liked on and off for a while now is skateboarding which is where these next article ideas came from.
My daughter was also the person who introduced me to the Angry Birds game which has led to me writing several pages on them including Angry Birds t-shirts and iphones (at a different site) and Angry Birds costumes (see under my costume listings below) and this next article on Angry Brids plush toys -
I'm thinking she might like the Angry Birds Knock on Wood game opposite for Christmas. She does love getting games out when her friends come over and they play lots of them so this could definitely be a winning idea for her.
Click on the product to read what the reviewers have to say for yourself, personally I think it sounds like something she'll love and all bar one of her friends will probably enjoy as well.
Having a daughter I've gone through all of the stages (this far) that it seems girls go through - Disney Princesses, Dora the Explorer, Bratz (we missed Barbie somehow), Hannah Montana etc and one of the things I love to do is look at what's available online to create great girls bedrooms for people who's children are still at these stages.
It's so much fun I would love to do nothing but create girls bedrooms as a job, but as I don't do that I'll just share a few pages with you online instead :)

I Love Christmas
Christmas is a holiday I love. When I was growing up I celebrated Christmas in winter - it was like a bright spot in the middle of winter - and it was fantastic. The second half of my life has seen me celebrating Christmas in the middle of summer.
I must admit I still dream of a white Christmas, but I also love spending Christmas day in the pool! In recent years I've actually had my white Christmas in the form of a Snowball (a delicious cocktail) instead of the real cold, wet stuff!
Check out a few of my Christmas articles -

Aromatherapy is Great!
I have a diploma in aromatherapy and have been using essential oils for years. I actually managed one of the largest health shops in New Zealand for over 10 years (although that seems a lifetime ago now).
I've decided I really should start sharing some of my knowledge with you so here's what I have at the moment -
Jigsaw Puzzles are Fun!
My parents have done their fair share of jigsaw puzzles over the year so it's hardly surprising that I would get the bug too! I haven't thought about jigsaws for a few years and then Zazzle introduced them and I realized that I missed jigsaw nights.
If you're looking for some puzzling fun then you'll love these next pages from me -
I Love Jewelry
Surprisingly I don't actually own as much jewelry as you would think ....... although I do have quite a bit! I've always loved hearing tales of famous pieces of jewelry and myths about what different gemstones are supposed to signify. I'm surprised that I never became a jeweler, although I did apply to work for one not once, but twice.
I occasionally write about jewelry online including right here on Wizzley as I think jewelry makes a perfect gift, after all as I've said to my hubby - it is portable! Let's have a look at some of my jewelry articles here.
I Live in Queensland, Australia
After spending 10 years in New Zealand my hubby and I decided to make a big move ourselves when he was offered a job in Australia. The job didn't work out, but once we found ourselves living in Queensland we both felt like we'd found our home.
I've written a few articles about places in Queensland here on Wizzley and I'll probably be writing a few more soon.
Wedding Articles
Weddings are a big event to plan generally, although I had a very small wedding myself. I'm not sure why I've started to become quite interested in weddings recently, probably a culmination between a couple of friends re-marrying and a younger friend looking at getting married for the first time.
Whatever the reason I have found some cool wedding ideas and the range of wedding favors, wedding decor etc that you can source online is nothing short of amazing. It's because of all of this that I started writing about weddings on another site and a couple of articles have spilled over to Wizzley, they'll be more to come as well because they're lots of fun.
I get all of the fun of the wedding planning with none of the stress so what's not to love about producing these webpages?

Feeling Hungry?
After reading all of that you must be hungry, I'm certainly hungry after writing it all! Normally I would suggest some chocolate, a biscuit or a slice of cake, but instead I'm going to offer up my food articles that I've written on Wizzley.
Bon Appetit!

You are an inspiration. Don't know how you do it all.
Thank you Katie - I am planning on creating more as this wizzography is getting pretty big and it's also missing my last few articles so I need to do something :/
I like your example of a good wizzography, I plan on changing my own to be more functional as is yours. Do you plan on creating other wizzographies?
Great idea to put together a portfolio, and the name of wizzography looks good and funny to me.
Thanks to let my know you better.
Regards
I know all about people getting your name wrong, so I feel for you there, Lou! Nice to get to know a bit more about you!
I'm impressed -- you've been very busy since you joined Wizzley, Lou! So far all your readers have been Zazzlers, definitely a common interest around here so I bet your Zazzle pages will be useful.
Lots of good stuff, here. Nice job. No Wizzography yet but I did do a Who is. :)
This was a fun read, Lou. You've put together quite a few wizzles here.
You have reminded me that I really ought do my own Wizzograpy one of these days. Guess I'm waiting to have more to put in it. I enjoyed reading yours. I always learn at least one new thing with each piece you write. This was no exception.
Good information. I'm off to visit your Zazzle stores.
